GS Experience is the most complete motorcycle tour Ride in Romania offers — six days and roughly 1,800 kilometers built to take full advantage of everything a big adventure bike can do. Starting and finishing in Sibiu, the route blends flowing mountain tarmac with genuine off-road, about 60% of it on gravel, dirt, and mountain track, across the most beautiful landscapes the country has to offer.

On-road and off-road, the best of both

This is a true GS tour — a 40/60 mix of on-road and off-road riding designed to use every part of the motorcycle and every kind of terrain Romania provides. Roads serpentine along elevated ridgelines with spectacular panoramic views; trails drop you into wild, remote country between them. Each day covers 200 to 350 kilometers and ends at a different hotel, so the adventure keeps moving and the scenery never repeats.

Who this tour is for

This isn’t a race — but it does ask for solid skills. You should have confident control of your motorcycle’s basic controls, particularly braking, acceleration, and clutch, on mixed terrain. Ride your own adventure bike or rent one of ours — a BMW F900GS, R1250GS, or R1300GS, all fully insured and supported. What matters is controlled, confident riding and the willingness to ride as part of a team.

Come prepared for the mountains

Mountain weather is unpredictable — chilly mornings, afternoons above 30°C — so pack quality waterproofs and layer smart. Safety gear is required: a certified full-face or motocross helmet (flip-up models stay closed while riding), full body armor (back, shoulders, elbows, knees), quality gloves, and durable adventure or motocross boots. Bring a hydration system for the long days, and we recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Meine  beiden langjährigen Motorradkollegen und zwei sehr angenehme Motorradfahrer aus England bildeten unsere Gruppe.  Cristian und Doro haben unvorstellbares geleistet um uns jede Unannehmlichkeit zu ersparen. Die Tour ist perfekt abgestimmt,  sei es von der täglichen Distanz her,  Streckenwahl, Hotels. Nach dem ersten Fahrtag waren wir ein perfekt aufeinander abgestimmtes Team,  sowohl fahrtechnisch, alsauch bei dem abendlichen Zusammensein. Ich könnte stundenlang weiter schwärmen.
