Let’s ride!
Are you prepared for the most complex Romanian tour that MOTO TOURS & TRAININGS has to offer? It’s called GS Experience because we are sure that the experience you will get to live will be an unforgettable one. We have put together a tour that will perfectly mix the two main motorcycle areas: on and off road. Also, we want to take full advantage of everything the bikes have to offer and of everything Romania proposes in terms of riding. The tour will have a mix of on-road (40%) and off-road (60%) and we’ll make sure not to miss the most interesting places in the country.
Embark on an adventure where each sunset finds us at a different hotel, making our way across stunning landscapes on two wheels. With multiple experienced guides in our team, we can accommodate different riding styles and experience levels by forming smaller groups that match your comfort and desire.
Our riding philosophy is built on mutual support and teamwork – no one gets left behind, and every challenging section becomes a shared achievement. We tackle each obstacle together, ensuring everyone’s journey is both safe and enjoyable.
The routes we’ve chosen showcase breathtaking mountain landscapes, with roads that serpentine along elevated ridges offering spectacular panoramic views. While speed isn’t the focus, we do require riders to demonstrate solid motorcycle handling skills. Your ability to precisely manage your bike’s basic controls – particularly braking, acceleration, and clutch operation – is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Remember: this isn’t a race – it’s about mastering the art of controlled, confident riding while soaking in the magnificent scenery and camaraderie of fellow motorcyclists.
Safety First: Essential Preparations
Before joining our adventure, ensure you’re covered with comprehensive travel insurance – most homeowner’s policies include this, but it’s worth double-checking with your provider. For European riders, we recommend bringing your European insurance certificate for additional peace of mind.
Staying Hydrated, Staying Safe
A hydration system isn’t just recommended – it’s essential for your comfort and safety during long riding days. The ability to drink water while on the move can make a significant difference in your riding experience.
Gear Up for Every Weather
Your riding gear is your armor, and we insist on full protection:
• A certified full-face or motocross helmet (note: flip-up models must remain closed while riding)
• Comprehensive body protection (back, shoulders, elbows, and knees)
• Quality riding gloves
• Robust adventure or motocross boots
Weather in mountainous regions is notoriously unpredictable. Pack quality waterproof gear and prepare for significant temperature swings – from chilly mountain mornings to sweltering over 30°C in the afternoons. Layering is your best strategy for handling these variations.
