Our Southeast Europe Adventure motorcycle tour will take you through undiscovered places, outside the tourist track. We start in Romania and we will pass through Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia.
Albania spent the last 60 years under strict and isolationist Dictator Enver Hoxha and its working hard now to come out of its long isolation under communist rule. Tirana, the capital of Albania, is the city where old and new Albania meets.
If you are a rider who like adventure and who like to ride on challenging roads, handling what-comes from visiting countries new to tourism, then this tour is for you.

DAY 1: Bucharest 
Welcome to Romania!
We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the hotel. The hotel is situated in the center of Bucharest, a city with a vibrating culture, art galleries, museums and a busy night life. Known as “Little Paris” and its reputation for the high life, Romania’s largest city and capital Bucharest, offers a historical charm, a large number of museums, art galleries, exquisite Orthodox churches and unique architectural sites. We start our visit with the Parliament Palace (formerly called the People’s Palace).Build within Nicolae Ceausescu’s vision, the Parliament Palace provides 3.76 million square feet and it is considered as the world’s second largest building after the U.S. Pentagon. In the evening we will have a welcome special dinner organized by us and we will discuss the details of our tour.

DAY 2: Bucharest – Veliko Tarnovo 
Today we leave Bucharest, travelling south to cross the border into Bulgaria. On the way to Veliko Tarnovo we will stop to visit the Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo, which are a group of monolithic churches, chapels and monasteries hewn out of solid rock. The churches are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
After this stop we will continue our motorcycle tour to Veliko Tarnovo, famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire. In the afternoon we will take a walk and we will visit the Tsarevets Fortress.

DAY 3: Veliko Tarnovo – Bansko 
A beautiful day is waiting for us, it is time for some wild landscape and mountains roads. We will start our day with the curves of Shipka Pass and we will cross Stara Planina Mountain. On the way to our destination we will cross Pirin Mountains. At the end of the day we will arive in Bansko.

DAY 4: Bansko – Demir Kapija 
Today it is time to cross again the border, but not before to ride one more time on some nice mountains roads. Macedonia is waiting for us to be discovered.

DAY 5: Demir Kapija – Ohrid 
We will ride our motorcycles through Pelister National Park and Galichia National Park
In the afternoon we will reach Ohrid Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest lakes in the world. We spend the night in Ohrid town and we can take a walk on the promenade.

DAY 6: Ohrid – Sarande 
In the morning we will cross into Albania, a wild and beautiful country where tourism is just starting to take place. We’ll ride the most serious mountains yet of the tour, the Gramoz Range, with snow capped peaks over 2.500 meters high. On our way to Sarande we will pass to several bunkers, all of them built during the communist time.

DAY 7: Sarande – free day 
Today is our relaxing day!
In the morning we will visit Butrint ruins located in Butrint National Park. The ruins date from the Romans time and there are located very close to our hotel. Butrint National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. A number of major monuments are still extant including the city walls, late-antique baptistery, theatre, great basilica and Venetian castles.
We come back at the hotel and you can enjoy the beach under the sun of Ionian Sea.

DAY 8: Sarande – Tirana
We start our day on Ioanian Coast and then we’ll ride to Tirana, the capital of Albania. We will ride our motorcycles along the coast with the sea on the left side and the mountains on the right side. The spectacle of the beautiful mountains into the Ionian see makes it worth riding and enjoying the view. We will spend the night in Tirana.
Tirana is the city where old and new Albania meets. In the evening we will take a walk and discover the town.

DAY 9: Tirana – Kopaonik
A fantastic day is waiting for us! We will ride our motorcycles through the Albanian Alps, on challenging roads with beautiful landscape perfect for pictures. We continue our motorcycle tour to Kopaonik National Park and we will cross the border in Serbia. Kopaonik is the biggest mountain in Serbia. We will ride our motorcycle on nice roads up to 1700m surrounded by mountain peaks, we will admire the beautiful landscape and we will make nice pictures. Kopaonik National Park is characterized by its extraordinary natural beauty.

DAY 10: Kopaonik – Drobeta
We continue our motorcycle tour to Negotin. We raise towards a gorgeous landscape, perfect for motor ride, along Danube, a fairytale land haunted by peasants and mysteries.

DAY 11: Drobeta – Transalpina Road – Sibiu 
We continue our motorcycle tour to Transalpina, highest mountain road from the entire Carpathian Mountain chain. We ride on fantastic roads and beautiful serpentines at 2145 meters; make pictures of the beautiful landscape of Transalpina road.
It is a perfect playground for demanding motorcyclists.
We finish the day in Sibiu. The city was founded by the Saxon colonists and called once “Hermannstadt”. Voted in 2007 together with Luxemburg the “European Cultural Capital, “The Music City” offers us a great number of cultural monuments, a diversity of museums and various artistic events.

DAY 12: Sibiu – Transfagarasan Road – Bucharest 
We ride now through Transfagarasan road, 91 km just perfect for motor riding! Build at 2042 meters altitude over Fagaras Mountains which are the highest mountains in Romania, Transfagarasan road offers the most spectacular landscape in Europe! Open to the public only 2 months per year due to cold weather, Transfagarasan was called by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May from Top Gear as “the most amazing road we have ever seen”! We admire at the end of the road an incredible lake called Balea Lake which is located in the middle of the mountains and make perfect pictures. We finish our beautiful day in Bucharest. We will enjoy our goodbye dinner and share our perfect moments of our motorcycle tour.

DAY 13: Bucharest
